The coconut tree is my favourite tree. We use coconuts to make delicious curries. Young coconut is a sweet drink. The trunk of the tree is used for rafters. The coconut husk is used to make ropes, brooms, rugs and mattresses.
Their ekels are used to make ekel brooms and attractive ornaments. Tourists like these products. The leaves are used to thatch the roofs and make bags, mats and baskets. People use the coconut flower to make coconut treacle and toddy. I love this tree very much. We must protect the coconut tree.
