Veteran singer Morris Wijesinghe, passed away. He was 79 at the time of his demise.
Final rites will be held today at the Mt. Lavinia Public Cemetery.
He has won multiple awards as a playback singer in the 80s with 'Duwillen Wathsunu Thawara', 'Nil Ahas Thale Age', 'Oba Enna Oba Ewith Yanna Enna' among his most popular tracks.
