The National Operation Centre for Prevention of COVID-19 said that 43 new COVID-19 patients were found as at today morning. 30 returnees from Qatar, Six returnees from Maldives, five from Kuwait, one returnee from India and the other patient was a returnee from UAE.
The total recoveries in the country has risen to 2879.
According, there are only 201 active cases being treated in various hospitals across the country.
The total count of positive coronavirus cases found in Sri Lanka currently sits at 3,092. Sri Lanka has witnessed 12 deaths from the virus so far.
