Ten returnees tested positive for COVID-19 yesterday

The National Operation Centre for Prevention of COVID-19 said that ten new COVID-19 patients were found as at today morning.

Two returnees from India who were quarantined at Norochcholai quarantine centre, three were returnee from Kuwait who was being quarantined at Mulankavil Quarantine Centre and the Rajagiriya Ayurvedic Quarantine Centre and five returnees from Qatar who were quarantined at Vidaththatpalai quarantine centre.

The total recoveries in the country has risen to 2889.

According, there are only 210 active cases being treated in various hospitals across the country.

The total count of positive coronavirus cases found in Sri Lanka currently sits at 3,111. Sri Lanka has witnessed 12 deaths from the virus so far.
