The United National Party (UNP) marked its 74th Anniversary with religious observations at the Sirikotha UNP Headquarters yesterday.
UNP Leader Ranil Wickremesinghe presided at the event and former MPs Navin Dissanayake, Ruwan Wijewardene, Vajira Abeywardena, John Amaratunga, Akila Viraj Kariyawasam, Daya Gamage and Arjuna Ranatunga participated. The statues of former Party Leaders were garlanded to mark the occasion. Wickremesinghe garlanded the bust of UNP Founder and first Prime Minister D.S.Senanayake.
