Two books in Sinhala, Eleena Jayawardhane: Story of a character by Sagarika Dissanayake, a veteran journalist and Prajathantrawaadaye Ekadipathiya (Democracy’s Dictator) by Pradeep Jayawardhane, grandson of the late President J.R. Jayewardene, will be launched on September 29 at 4.00 pm at the BMICH. The event will be presided over by Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa.

Sisilaagni, debut novel by Ananda Gunathilake, was launched at the BMICH. The book was published by Fast Publishing.
The novel is set in 1971 era and deals with love, separation and social struggles.
Sisilaagni is available at the Surasa stalls at the BMICH book fair.

Eththatama Rawana Hoda Ekek Wenna Ethi, a poetry book by Suranga Kuruppu Arachchi was also launched recently.
Sanath Wimalasiri, a veteran artiste delivered the keynote address.
The book was published by Sayura Prakashakayo.
