No interruption to EPF services

The EPF Department of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka has made arrangements to provide an uninterrupted service amidst the difficult situation prevailing in the country, a media release from the Central Bank stated.

Services such as settling refunds, collection of contributions, issuing of balance confirmations and contribution history reports and name and account amendments will be provided as follows:

Settlement of Refunds

All refund claims received from the Commissioner of Labour with the Determination Letter will be paid without any delay.

Collection of contributions and contribution details

Arrangements have been made for the Employers to pay monthly EPF contributions to any of the Peoples Bank branch island wide by quoting the respective reference number given with C-Form. Further, Employers already registered to pay contributions and submit C-Forms electronically can continue with the same procedure and other employers are encouraged to register with online contribution payment services provided by EPF Department.

Employers who pay contributions by cheque have been facilitated with a mailbox at the entrance of Lloyd’s Building, 13, Sir Baron Jayathilaka Mawatha, Colombo 1 to deposit cheques and contribution details.
