The 21st Covid-19 death reported in Sri Lanka, confirmed the Epidemiology Unit.
The deceased is 40 year old male and was suffering from high blood pressure and a respiratory infection.
He has passed yesterday (31) and the PCR performed at the post mortem tested positive even though his first PCR test was negative.
Due to this reason, the Epidemiology Unit announced this death as the 21st coronavirus death in Sri Lanka.
