DFCC Bank CEO Lakshman Silva was elected as the Chairman of the Sri Lanka Banks’ Association at its Annual General Meeting in Colombo recently.Silva takes over from Dimantha Seneviratne, the outgoing Chairman of the board for 2019/2020.
The other members of the Sri Lanka Banks’ Association: Vice Chairmen - D. P. K. Gunasekera (GM, BOC) and Basheer Ahmed (CEO, Indian Bank).
Members: Jonathan Alles (CEO, HNB), Kapila Ariyaratne (CEO, Seylan Bank), Bingumal Thewarathanthri (CEO Standard Chartered Bank), Wajid Ali Shah (Regional General Manager, Habib Bank), Ajith Peiris (GM, NSB), Ravi de Silva, Secretary General, SLBA. The Sri Lanka Banks’ Association is an umbrella body that strives to bring all Sri Lankan Banks together and work as one.
