05 more Covid-19 deaths reported in SL

Another 05 Covid-19 deaths were reported in Sri Lanka, confirmed by the Department of Government Information.

1. A 54 year old, male and a resident of Jinthupitiya, Colombo 13. He passed away at National Hospital, Colombo. The cause of death is chronic cancer and coronavirus.
2. A 39 year old, male and a resident of Colombo 15. He was receiving treatments in the hospital of Homagama after testing positive for Covid-19. The cause of death is cancer and Covid pneumonia.
3. An 88 year old, male and a resident of Colombo 12. He passed away at the admission to the hospital due to a chest pain. The cause of death is a cardiac arrest due to Covid-19.
4. A 79 year old, male and a resident of Borella. He has passed away at his residence and the cause of death is chronic lung disease with Covid-19.
5. An 88 year old and a resident of Colombo 13. He has passed away at the admission to the National Hospital, Colombo. The cause of death is Covid-19 and a heart attack.

The Covid-19 death toll in Sri Lanka is 58.
