Another 09 Covid-19 deaths reported in Sri Lanka today (21), confirmed the Department of Government Information.
- A 57 year old, male passed away at the National Hospital, Colombo. The cause of death is Covid-19 and pneumonia.
- A 65 year old, male who is a resident of Wellampitiya passed away at the National Hospital, Colombo. The cause of death is Covid-19 and high blood pressure and Diabetes.
- An 89 year old, male passed away at the National Hospital, Colombo. The cause of death is Covid-19.
- A 48 year old, female passed away at her residence. The cause of death is cardiac arrest due to Covid-19.
- A 72 year old, male passed away at his residence. The cause of death is diabetes, high blood pressure and heart attack along with Covid-19.
- A 69 year old, female passed away at her residence. The cause of death is cardiac arrest due to Covid-19.
- A 76 year old, male passed away at the Base Hospital, Mulleria after transferring from the National Hospital, Colombo. The cause of death is Covid-19 pneumonia and bacterial infection.
- A 75 year old, female passed away at the Base Hospital, Homagama. The cause of death is Covid-19 infection and pneumonia.
- A 76 year old, female passed away at the Infectious Diseases Hospital (IDH). The cause of death is Covid-19 and blood poisoning.
The death toll is at 83 in the country.
