President Gotabaya Rajapaksa will preside over a meeting of state officials and Ministry secretaries next week to guide them assist rural folk under various programs initiated by the Government.
Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa and Chairman of the Presidential Task Force on Economic Revival and Poverty Eradication Basil Rajapaksa will also attend the meeting scheduled to be held at Temple Trees on January 7.
“The event is an effort to cut down on bureaucratic red tape and issue clear directives to state officials to ensure they are at ease to implement the directives issued by the President under Gama Samaga Pilisandarak program and Basil Rajapaksa’s Weda Samaga Yali Gamata Program.
All Ministry Secretaries, Heads of departments, District Secretaries have been invited to the meeting.
