India, Australia condemn racial abuse on cricket players

India vs. Australia cricket match was halted for 10 minutes on Sunday when Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Siraj were subjected to racial abuse by the spectators.

India made an official complaint against the abuse on behalf of the two bowlers and Australia’s governing body of cricket apologized over the incident.

Australia coach Justin Langer said the incident which took place in Sydney was "upsetting" and "disappointing".

"Racial abuse is absolutely unacceptable." said India captain Virat Kohli on social media.
