A total of 51 trains which were temporarily cancelled due to Covid-19 epidemic will be deployed for passenger transportation this month, announced M. J. D. Fernando, General Manager of Sri Lanka Railways.
39 trains deployed for passenger transportation today (12) onwards.
Another 12 trains will be deployed (18) onwards.
In addition, customary daily train frequency will resume 25 January onwards.
