Member of Parliament Sivanesathurai Chandrakanthan alias ‘Pillayan’ and 04 other suspects were acquitted by the Batticaloa High Court on Wednesday.
They were arrested for allegedly assassinating former parliamentarian Joseph Pararajasingam on Christmas at St, Mary’s Cathedral, Batticaloa in 2005.
