The Education Minister, Professor G L Peiris tested NEGATIVE for Covid-19 after the self- quarantine, said the Ministry of Education in a Press Release today (23).
Minister Peiris was identified as a close contact when Minister Piyal Nishantha diagnosed with Covid-19. Accordingly, Minister Peiris, his family members and the staff were self- quarantined.
