The Senior Journalist and Kala Keerthi Edwin Ariyadasa passed away, family sources confirmed.
He was at 98 years old at his demise.
Ariyadasa who was born on 3 December 1922 in Unawatuna had his secondary education at Mahinda College, Galle.
He joined Associated Newspapers of Ceylon Limited (Lake House) on 3 March 1949. He worked for most of the newspapers published by Lake House including the Sunday Observer, Daily News and the Dinamina. He was a staff writer of all these papers and Features Editor of the Dinamina newspaper.
