Zayn Malik and Gigi Hadid sneakily revealed their baby daughter’s name via an Instagram bio update on Gigi’s part, and now fans think Zayn has been giving us clues all along, courtesy a new tattoo on his wrist!
As Gigi shared in her IG bio, the musician and model named their daughter Khai, possibly a nod to Gigi’s paternal grandma Khairiah Hadid and her sister Bella’s middle name Khair.
They’ve kept details about the baby relatively private since she arrived in September, but a few eagle-eyed fans noticed that Zayn recently added to his ever-expanding collection of body art, and the tattoo sure looks like a reference to his sweet baby girl.
A Zayn fan account noticed the tattoo in Zayn’s Instagram Live from January 17; clearly visible on the blue-haired singer’s wrist is a red piece of body art that appears to be Khai’s name in Arabic. Aww!
BuzzFeed did some major detective work and zoomed in on the screenshots for a clearer view, and the body art certainly seems to be an ode to their new addition. We love a proud dad! Plus, Zayn’s a huge fan of tattoos, and even has Gigi’s eyes inked on his chest, so it’s not surprising that he’d add a piece devoted to his daughter ASAP.
Will Gigi follow Zayn’s lead and get some ink in honor of the baby she calls “the best girl ever?” We’ll have to keep our eyes peeled, because the new parents are enjoying sharing little details about life with baby Khai in the sneakiest ways possible!
