Asalanka cracks two hundreds in two T20 matches

Charith Asalanka the experienced all rounder produced a superb batting display at the inaugural Richmond League T-20 cricket tournament when he struck two centuries in two matches on the second day of the tournament played at the Galle International Cricket Stadium yesterday.

Asalanka the captain of Team Trigs struck an unbeaten 115 in 66 balls (with 11 fours and five sixes) to post a 65 runs victory over Team Samuels in the first game and once again hit 101 in 64 balls (with 8 fours and 7 sixes ) against Team Hartly to record an 18 runs win and maintain an unbeaten run in this tournament.

Team Trigs, Team Hartly and Team Samuels are battling it out in this tournaments which consists of Richmond College’s present and past cricketers.

Wanidu Hasaranga and Kamindu Mendis are not part of the matches due to national pool practices.

Today is the third and final day of the tournament organised by the Richmond Old Boys Association.
