A few showers will occur in Eastern and Uva provinces, stated the Department of Meteorology.
Showers or thundershowers are likely at a few places in Central province and in Ratnapura, Galle and Matara districts during the evening or night.
Mainly fair weather will prevail elsewhere over the island.
Misty conditions can be expected in Central and Sabaragamuwa provinces and in Galle and Matara districts during the morning.
