General Shavendra Silva, the Army Commander and the Head of National Operation Center for Prevention of Covid-19 (NOCPCO) denied the rumours of a countrywide lockdown after UK variant of coronavirus was detected.
He says that discussions are being held and essential steps to be taken to control the new variant inside the country.
