Top women’s chess players vie for honours

Top ranked women’s chess players are participating in the second Sri Lanka Women’s Chess Grand Prix 2021 which started yesterday at the Chess Federation headquarters in Nugegoda.

This leading women’s event is conducted by the Chess Federation of Sri Lanka (CFSL) and played on a round robin basis over eleven rounds. They will be given a time frame of 90 minutes with an increment of 30 seconds.

The event is webcast live using DGT Electronic Boards. Live streaming of the final will be arranged by CFSL You tube.

A total cash prize of Rs. 70,000 with medals and trophies will be presented to the winners.
