John Keells Properties has tied up with Hatton National Bank to offer its Freedom Mortgages home financing scheme for potential homeowners looking to invest in its Tri-Zen development.

The Freedom Mortgage plan promises customers the financial relief of a two-year interest free period on their mortgage, with the customer only having to pay 20% up front. The bank will fund up to 80% of the purchase price and the loan will be offered at attractive interest rates starting from just 7%.

Investors are faced with an unprecedented opportunity to purchase a home in the heart of the city through the Freedom Mortgage plan. Once the first 20% is paid, the customers do not need to make any further payments for two years through this scheme, and the bank can also offer a grace on the capital repayment for up to five years. The loan process is supported by HNB’s state-of-the-art back-end processes to ensure a three-day loan approval period for all applications.

“As one of the largest private sector banks in the country, we have always worked to offer our customers the best possible method to achieve their dreams. This partnership is an ideal opportunity for prospective homeowners looking to invest in a modern living space for their dream home,” said HNB Deputy General Manager, Retail and SME Banking, Sanjay Wijemanne.
