In Forex markets, the USD/LKR rate on spot contracts was seen trading at levels of Rs.199.50 to Rs.199.80 during the week while the more active one week forward contracts were seen closing the week at Rs.199.50/200.00 in comparison to its previous weeks closing level of Rs.199.25/199.75.
The daily USD/Rs. average traded volume for the first three days of the week stood at US $ 57.37 million.
