The Institute of Policy Studies of Sri Lanka (IPS) has released a Resource Digest on ‘Pandemics, Public Health and Economic Prosperity’ with policy recommendations based on in-depth research on how Sri Lanka can respond effectively to public health concerns in the age of pandemics.
The new publication is for policymakers and other public and private sector stakeholders, as well as the public to gain a better understanding of the key issues that need to be addressed, and outlines prevention and mitigation strategies to protect public health and foster economic growth. As our researchers argue, the impact of adverse public health shocks can be reduced through appropriate policy and preparedness measures.
