The stage is set for the 42nd Observer SLT Mobitel Schools Cricketers of the Year 2020 at the BMICH on Tuesday, starting at 5.30 p.m.
Former Sri Lanka captain and ex-Chairman of selectors Sanath Jayasuriya, fresh after his last month’s performance for Sri Lanka at the Legends World Cup final where he top scored for his team, will be the chief guest.
Minister Keheliya Rambukwella will be the guest of honour.
Adding colour to the event will be many entertainment items. Derana Dream Star 2020 winner Falan Andrea will lead the colourful team along with ever-popular Randhir Witana who had collaborated with Sri Lankan hip hop duo Bhathiya and Santhush featuring on their first hip hop remix song Siri Sangabodhi.
Two other popular artistes Tehani Imara and Madhuvy Vaithialingam are among the others lined top for the evening and the Gayan Dance Troupe will be in attendance. The two-and-a-half show is coordinated by the leading event organiser Funtime under the direction of Imran Saibo.
Evergreen Clifford Richards and Sonali Perera will once again present the Mega Show.
