Marconi was a famous Italian who invented the radio. He was born in Bologna, Italy on April 25, 1874. He studied at the university. Marconi carried out experiments and transmitted messages across the English channel.

He developed the wireless and transmitted messages across the Atlantic Ocean from Cornwall in England to St. John’s in Newfoundland In 1909, he won the Nobel Prize for his work. He died at the age of 53 in 1937.
