TXT to comeback in May, Big Hit Music confirms

2 May, 2021

MOAs get ready because new TXT music is expected to drop very soon.

As noted by Soompi on April 22, South Korean outlet OSEN reported that TXT (Tomorrow X Together) will have a comeback in May. After some speculation, Big Hit Music has reportedly confirmed the news to Newsen. Per Soompi, OSEN’s original report also noted that “many globally renowned producers have participated in the album.”

Upcoming release

Other than the expected month of release, not much is known about the quintet’s upcoming release as of yet. But, since there’s not long to go, we should be getting more information via the group’s social channels and Weverse once details have been finalised. (In the meantime, MOAs are already celebrating with the #TXTIsComing hashtag on Twitter.)

TXT’s latest Korean release was the Minisode1: Blue Hour EP, a five-track project that followed the culmination of their debut series, The Dream Chapter trilogy. Aside from being a significant progression for the quintet as artists, the project also landed the 25th spot on the Billboard 200 chart, marking TXT’s own record. (The group has since put out Still Dreaming, their first full-length Japanese studio album. The project, released in January, included the Japanese version of the Minisode1 title track Blue Hour. )

Until we know more about the upcoming project, fans can re- watch recent appearances from the group (like We Lost The Summer on The Ellen DeGeneres Show) and look forward to their appearance at the Lotte Duty Free Online Family Concert, taking place on May 16, alongside the likes of BTS, TWICE, and ITZY.
