My favourite person is Martin Wickremasinghe He was one of the most prominent writers of Sri Lanka. He was born in 1890 in Koggala, in Southern Sri Lanka. 
He attended Buona Vista College in Galle. This famous writer became fluent in two languages, English and Latin.
His wife was Prema de Silva and they had six children.
Gamperaliya, Madoldoova, Yuganthaya and Kaliyugaya are some of his famous novels.
I like Martin Wickremasinghe as he is a great writer in our country. His writing style is very simple. His stories are very close to our lives.Anyone can read and understand his novels.Some of his books have been translated into several languages. This great writer lives in our hearts forever.
