Samsung to unveil Galaxy Buds2 and Galaxy Watch4 in Sri Lanka

12 September, 2021

Smartphone brand, Samsung, is preparing to unveil its flagship products Samsung Galaxy Watch4 and its new TWS earbuds dubbed as Galaxy Buds2, alongside the pre-order phase of the all new Galaxy Z Flip3 and Z Fold3 foldable phones.

The new wireless stereo (TWS) earbuds from Samsung are designed as the successor to the Galaxy Buds that were launched in February 2019. They are also an upgrade to the Galaxy Buds+ that were launched last year. The Galaxy Buds2 features active noise cancellation (ANC).

“We are very excited to launch our Galaxy Watch4 and Galaxy Buds2 to Sri Lanka. Following Sri Lanka’s first Foldable smartphone launch, we expect to expose consumers to the superior technology provided by Samsung Buds and Watch, to connect consumers to the Samsung ecosystem.

This allows for a seamless technological experience and easier transition through the products for day to day convenience,” said Managing Director, Samsung Sri Lanka, Kevin Sung Su You.

The new smartwatches are the first to run on the new Wear OS that Google unveiled in May in collaboration with Samsung.

The new operating system for the Galaxy Watch 4 comes with Samsung’s latest One UI Watch custom skin. On the display front, the Galaxy Watch4 40mm and Galaxy Watch4 Classic 46mm both feature a 1.2-inch Super AMOLED display with a 396x396 pixels resolution. The smartwatch is also designed to provide notifications for calls, SMS messages, and emails.
