Hemas Consumer Brands continues to help Covid-hit communities

19 September, 2021

Hemas Consumer Brands made several donations recently to support as many communities as possible during turbulent times of the pandemic.

Since the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020, Hemas Consumer Brands provided a high level of assistance for communities affected by the pandemic and the health care sector, by donating essential goods, personal care products and much needed equipment to the health care sector.

Hemas Consumer Brands donated essential goods to families residing in Theldeniya who were affected by food shortage and water requirements.

Hemas recently donated essential personal care products to the Covid-19 intermediary care centre of the National Hospital, the Covid-19 ward of Homagama Hospital, the Covid Patient Management Facility at the National Hospital and the Department of Ayurveda.

“We believe as Sri Lankans, we need to help each other in order to come out of these struggles the country is facing right now. At Hemas Consumer Brands, we prioritize the health, wellbeing and safety of our communities and by being with them during these challenging times, we ensure to fulfill their necessities in every possible way we can.

The entire Hemas team has rallied behind the donations with the purpose of focusing on the welfare of these communities. We hope to expand these initiatives further and support the most vulnerable groups in the country,” said Director Marketing, Hemas Consumer Brands, Fiona Juriansz Munasinghe.
