Nalin Wickremasinghe, retired banker, now General Manager at Mode Group of Companies, was unanimously elected as the 42nd president of the Mercantile Cricket Association (formed by the British Expatriates in 1911) at their 104th Annual General Meeting held via zoom from the MCA Legends Wing on September 29.
Wickremasinghe becomes the 28th Sri Lankan to be the head of the MCA taking over from Rohana Dissanayake of David Pieris Group of Companies.
Last year’s Chairman, Tournament Committee, Tarindra Kaluperuma from Stafford Motors is the new General Secretary
