The Kandy perahera takes place in the month of Esala.It is a beautiful perahera.
The whip crackers are at the front of the perahera. After them are the flag bearers carrying Buddhist flags.
Drummers, dancers and Nilames on elephants are in the perahera. The elephants are beautifully caparisoned. The tusker carries the casket of the Sacred Tooth Relic.
Everyone likes to see the perahera.
