SLGJA to prioritise global jewellery promotion

The priority of the  Sri Lanka Gem and Jewellery Association (SLGJA) would be marketing and promoting the industry globally, said SLGJA  Chairman  Ajward Deen following his appointment as Chairman at the SLGJA AGM last week.

The new SLGJA committee outlined an extensive plan to uplift the industry post-pandemic.

Shazeen Farook,  Vice Chairman, Gem Segment, Muslim Salahudeen,  Vice Chairman,  Jewellery Segment, Akram Cassim, Vice Chairman, Lapidary Segment, Pinsiri Wijepala, Vice Chairman, Foreign Promotions and Trade Fairs, Altaf Iqbal, Asst. Secretary, Amanda Wijemanne and Asst. Treasurer, Nawrooz Azmi.
