Vivian Fowler Watt emerged the winner of the women's Bronze Cup event when she beat Ruani Desinghe narrowly 1-up in the final at the RCGC golf tournament played at the Ridgeways course yesterday.
It was not easy for Fowler going into the final and she had to go all the way for the final hole to emerge the winner.
The women's Silver division saw the semi-finals being completed leaving Kayla Perera to meet Kaya Daluwatte in the final to be played today.
Kayla beat Yun Jeong Choi 5 and 4 and Kaya beat Niloo Jayathilake 6 and 4 in the semi-finals of the match play format.
The men’s event will also see the final being played today.
The finalists were not decided as they were at play till late in the evening yesterday.
