New Zealand’s Indian born spinner Ajaz Patel entered the history books as he became the third bowler to take all 10 wickets in a match when he achieved the feat on the second day of the second cricket Test against India in Mumbai on Saturday.

Patel, who took four wickets on the first day that left India at 221 for 4, got into the act once again in the early stages of the first session of the second day when he trapped Wriddhiman Saha leg-before and in the following ball had the wicket of Ravichandran Ashwin who was bowled for a first ball duck.

Entering the fray for another spell, Patel had the scalp of opener and top scorer Mayank Agarwal caught behind for 150 and then had the wickets of Axar Patel (52), Jayant Yadav (12) and Mohammad Siraj for 4 to finish the innings with 10 for 119 .

England’s Jim Laker and India’s Anil Kumble were the bowlers to take all 10 wickets in an innings prior to Patel’s feat.
