The dedicated team at Dialog Axiata PLC rang in the festive spirit in adherence to health and safety guidelines as a result of the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, with the launch of the ‘Dialog Digital Christmas Zone’.
This 3D interactive virtual winter wonderland was held from December 20-31 at the Dialog auditorium by husband and wife singing duo Rookantha Gunathilake and Chandralekha Perera, Rector of St.Joseph’s College, Nugegoda, Fr. Lakmin Silva and Group Chief Technology Officer at Dialog Axiata PLC, Pradeep De Almeida.
It enabled Sri Lankans across the country with an engaging experience to celebrate Christmas via a web platform from the comfort and safety of their homes.
‘Dialog Digital Christmas Zone’ came equipped with activities which the whole family could take part in, including; writing a letter to Santa (visitors can send Santa their Christmas Wish list and selected winners will stand a chance to receive exciting prizes), listening to Christmas songs by Rookantha Gunathilake and family, Christmas Karaoke (visitors could sing and record their own versions of well-loved Christmas songs), watch the ‘Naththale Asiriya’ series (10 short stories showcasing the origin of Christmas and customs associated with Christmas), win prizes by playing Christmas mini-games and also enjoy exciting seasonal offers from Dialog.
