My country is Sri Lanka. It is located in the Indian Ocean. The main ethnic groups in the country are Sinhala, Tamil, Muslim, Burgher and Malay. 
Sri Lanka is an island because it is surrounded by the sea. Sri Lanka exports tea, rubber and coconut. It exported rice in the past.
Sri Lankans staple food is rice. Sri Jayawardenepura, Kotte is the capital of Sri Lanka. The national flower is the blue water lily. The national tree is the ironwood tree. Our national game is volleyball. There are many ancient and historical places in my country. Tourists visit Sri Lanka. I love my country very much.
