A festive Holy Mass was conducted at St. Mary’s Cathedral, Batticaloa to welcome the New Year 2022.
The Mass was celebrated by his Lordship. Rt. Rev. the Bishop of Batticaloa, Dr. Joseph Ponniah and parish Priest Rev. Fr. George Jeevaraj.
The Bishop during his spoke about the difficulties faced by cultivators due to the lack of fertiliser and invoked the blessings from Lord Jesus for a speedy recovery for the people’s welfare during the from Jesus Christ for their welfare and to eliminate Covid-19 pandemic.
