Abdul Hameed Anver of the Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP) was appointed the new member of the Sammanthurai Pradeshiya Sabha (PS) to replace Y.V. Mohamed Muzammil of the same party who resigned from the post. Abdul Hameed Anver took oaths as the new member before Sammanthurai PS Chairman A.M.M. Nowshad at the Sammanthurai PS recently.
