St. Peter’s College player Rusanda Gamage has shot up into the lead of the Sunday Observer Mobitel Most Popular Cricketer vote count with a tally of 16,608 votes well ahead of his closest rival Dunith Wellalage of St. Joseph’s College who has polled 15,837 votes.

Ahan Wickremasinghe from Royal College who was in the lead last week will not be in the running.

In the girls segment Chusadi Kaushalya of Dharmapala continues to lead.
