CDB supports SLA training school construction

14 August, 2022

A state-of-the-art accommodation facility and quarantine complex completed its first phase of construction at the Sri Lanka Army Maduru Oya Training School this month.

Citizens Development Business Finance PLC (CDB) presented Rs. 10 million to the National Operations Centre for the Prevention of Covid-19 Outbreak (NOCPCO) for the construction of this complex.

In its quest to augment its corporate stewardship, CDB embarked on this project during the height of the pandemic in 2020 to assist the country in combating the deadly impacts of Covid-19. Given the requirements of the time, the facility was initially planned as a quarantine center but will now be an accommodation facility for students enrolled at the Maduru Oya Training School.
