Former President Gotabaya Rajapaksa who officially resigned from his post on July 14 returned to the country from Thailand along with his wife Ioma Rajapaksa on Friday night. Here Urban Development and Housing Minister Prasanna Ranatunga and SLPP Kandy District Parliamentarian Mahindananda Aluthgamage welcome the former President at the VIP Lounge at the Bandaranaike International Airport. Gotabaya Rajapaksa served as the eighth Executive President of Sri Lanka from November 18, 2019 until his resignation on July 14, 2022.
