The Education Ministry has invited applications from deserving Government school teachers to get transfers in April, next year.
Accordingly, the suggestions and proposals by the Teachers’ Transfer Boards would be taken into account and consequently, the qualified teachers would be given transfers before the start of the academic year of 2023.
Many Government teachers have been offered temporary service affiliations since early this year considering the transport difficulties faced by them due to the existing fuel shortages countrywide.
Therefore, after December 31, 2022, no such letters of affiliations would be issued to any school teachers to close schools due to transport difficulties.
Such transfers are allowed for Government teachers whose services are essentially needed.
However, pregnant teachers would be given due transfers onmedical grounds and that procedure would continue as usual, the latest circular issued to school heads by the Education Ministry stated.
