The inaugural Yeti Open Junior National Squash Championships will be held from September 11 to 17 at the SSC Squash Courts at Maitland Place.
The tournament conducted by Sri Lanka Squash (SLS), has attracted over 225 entries and will feature all top girls’ and boys’ junior players in the country from under-9 to under-19.
Isotonic sports drinks manufacturer Yeti, has come forward to support this championship once again.
The Sri Lankan juniors performed well at the recently concluded 29th Asian Junior Individual Squash Championships held in Thailand with five players reaching the last 16 in the Asian Circuit and two players eventually won the Plate title in their respective age groups.
