Creating a landmark in the Port City Colombo (PCC) development, a Horse riding club was introduced making it the first investment of this kind. The project also created another milestone making it the first development project in PCC to be entirely powered by green energy, via Solaris Energy (Pvt) Limited.
Chairperson, Ceylon Riding Club, Ineke Ann Pitts said that this kind of entertainment is commonly available in world-class cities and by opening this club they filled a major void in Colombo’s entertainment landscape. “This would be an added attraction for tourism marketing as well.”
A Solaris Energy (Pvt) Limited official said that the entire stable is powered by solar energy as this particular area in PCC does not have access to the national electricity grid.
