The Sri Lanka Tourism Promotion Bureau has organised a program for World Tourism Day (WTD), in collaboration with the Chamber of Tourism and Industry on September 27, at the SLTDA premises. Another event will be held at Arugam Bay on September 29.
The program schedule:
September 27
8 am: Rethinking Tourism Walk and Bicycle Safari starting from the SLTDA premises and through Galle Face, then again to the starting point.
9 am: Function at Hotel School auditorium. The Resident Coordinator and Country Representative for UNICEF will be the chief guest.
September 29 at 9.45 am: World Tourism Day program at Raupas Hotel, Arugam Bay under the patronage of State Minister Diana Gamage.
