Reading a Sunday newspaper is one of life’s simple pleasures, especially in one’s twilight years. The evening of one’s life is indeed a time for quiet contemplation and reflection in the company of family, especially grandchildren. Yesterday, the world celebrated the unique bond between elders and children by marking the International Day of Older Persons and Universal Children’s Day.
