Boxing in Sri Lanka takes Las Vegas flavour

The stage is set for some titanic boxing bouts as the ‘Countdown to the Middle East Crown’ Series 5 organised by DJMC Events Dubai gets underway at the Hotel Shangri-la in Colombo on Saturday November 26 from 6.00pm onwards.

There will be two title fights (10-round contests) in a card of ten featuring four and six-round duels. Three Sri Lankan fighters will also feature prominently in the evening’s proceedings. This is the first time professional boxing will be held in the country thanks to Dubai-based Sri Lankan entrepreneur Dunstan Rozairo. The last four editions of this series were held in the UAE.
