Visakha Vidyalaya clinched the girls’ overall junior national championship while Royal College secured the boys’ junior national championship at the National and Junior National diving championship held at the Sugathadasa Indoor pool that concluded yesterday.
It was interesting to see the winners of the three spring board and platform dives, Prasad Dissanayake and Kithmi Marambe being outstanding as they won the boys’ and girls’ best national diver awards respectively.
Mikhail Jayaweera won the boys’ best junior national diver award while Vinudi Kankanamge bagged the girls’ best junior national diver award.
